STREET ART & THE CAVES

At this tour,  we will walk through three of the most beautiful and oldest districts of Granada:

Realejo, Sacromonte and Albayzin, each one of them with its own individual and very special atmosphere.

 

Realejo, the old Jewish district where we can admire colorfull murals by many graffitti artists from Spain and Europe and all this under the eye of El Nino de Las Pinturas, one of the most famous and influencial Street Art artist in Spain.

 

Sacromonte,  a place where gypsies have lived for centuries in houses dug out in the mountains (caves). In this part of the country Flamenco was born . During the tour, we will have the opportunity to enter one of that beautiful and special houses and learn about its history.

 

Albayzin - the oldest district of Granada, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here  You will see a lot of tiny streets, atmospheric squares with tapas bars, and viewpoints with the majestic Alhambra always above Your head.

 

We will visit Carmen de Los Martires, which is a model of a typical Spanish house with beautiful gardens, where we meet peacocks, ducks, colorful fish and turtles.This amazing house is located next to the Alhambra and reflects the Euro-oriental atmosphere of this place.

 We will stop at the highest located view point in Granada , San Miguel Alto.

 

After such a trip, you can say that you really know Granada and have seen her real face, not just the one intended for tourists. You will pass through unpaved trails, encountering natives along the way and enjoy breathtaking views.
